Since 1988, the New York City Campaign Finance Board's Matching Funds Program has matched small-dollar contributions with public financing. Over the last 36 years, the program has enabled hundreds of candidates to rely on their grassroots donations — support from their friends and neighbors — instead of wealthy donor networks and corporate special interests.

The City’s matching funds program helps people-powered campaigns (like ours!) raise enough to have a real chance against campaigns backed by corporate special interests.

Because Brad doesn’t take any money from corporate special interests, he’s counting on supporters like you to step up. After all, an 8-to-1 match only makes an impact if enough New Yorkers donate — $5, $10, or whatever you can.
