Oxford
The tour begins in Oxford where Lewis lived and worked. Check in to the five star, iconic, Randolph Hotel. Over two days in Oxford the group will:
· Enjoy a guided walking tour of Magdalen College where Lewis taught, led by leading C.S. Lewis scholar Jerry Root.
· Visit The Kilns, C.S. Lewis' home as well as the church he attended and where he is buried.
· Visit filming locations from the C.S. Lewis Movie, "The Most Reluctant Convert".
· Attend a private conversation about C.S. Lewis' sermon, “The Weight of Glory” at St. Mary’s where Lewis first delivered the sermon.
Cambridge
After checking out of The Randolph in Oxford, go by bus to Cambridge:
· Visit Magdalen College where Lewis was Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Literature.
· Visit the Cambridge American Cemetery where over 3,000 American military men and women from WWII are buried.
· Opportunity to go punting on the river in Cambridge or enjoy lunch in the historic village.
London
The tour group will go to London and check in to the historic, luxurious, Langham Hotel, Europe’s first Grand Hotel. After checking in you will be free to individually enjoy exploring the city. Consider a hop-on, hop-off double decker bus tour, dinner at the restaurant of your choice, shopping, a Thames river cruise, or tickets to a show in the West End. The following day the group can tour sites such as:
· Westminster Abby to see the Lewis Memorial Stone in Poet’s Corner.
· The Churchill Bunker War Rooms.
· The BBC where Lewis broadcast the essays that became Mere Christianity.
· The Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are housed.
· Enjoy a private gourmet meal at The Hotel Savoy, perhaps London's most iconic luxury hotel.
Belfast
The tour finishes where C.S. Lewis was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Stay at the luxurious Culloden Estate and Spa, offering unparalleled five star service and the height of luxury in Belfast. Over two full days of touring:
· Visit the CS Lewis statue and the Narnia statues at C.S. Lewis Square.
· Travel to the Mourne Mountains where Lewis stood on the Clough Stone overlook and imagined the landscape of Narnia.
· Visit DunLuce Castle, which Lewis used as the model for the Castle at Cair Paravel.
· Enjoy dinner at Crawfordsburn Inn where Lewis and Joy enjoyed a belated honeymoon.
· Visit other important Northern Ireland tourism sites such as The Giant’s Causeway and the town of Bushmills.
Pricing and Availability
Trans-Atlantic flights are not included in the tour in order to simplify departures and direct flights from the airport nearest each guest’s home. The tour officially kicks off in Oxford the evening of August 15 with a welcome reception and dinner, and ends in Belfast the morning of August 23.

The tour price includes 8 nights at 5 star hotels, 7 evening meals (one night on your own in London), 8 lunches (one afternoon on your own in Oxford) and all breakfasts. All ground transportation is included except for airport transfers upon arrival in Belfast and departure in London. Air transportation is included for the flight from Belfast to London. Tour price does not include any travel insurance.
