AFSCME family, meet Carrie Bryant. Bryant is a children's library associate at the West Haven Library in West Haven, Conn. She is a member of AFSCME Local 393 (Council 4) and our newest Never Quit winner!

Carrie Bryant is a children’s library associate who’s been at the West Haven Library for nearly 11 years. Throughout her tenure she has strived to nurture a sense of connection, learning and fun, witnessing patrons grow from kids to high school graduates. Bryant's journey at the library began as a part-time library assistant. According to Enrique Feliciano, who nominated Bryant for AFSCME’s Never Quit Service Award, "Carrie is always faithful to the library. She always goes above and beyond." Carrie Bryant reminds us that creating safe spaces for communities is what it takes to improve the lives of patrons and enhance community connections.
