Israel continues to face terrorist threats on multiple fronts. In recent weeks:
Four Israeli soldiers were killed and 10 more wounded in a Hamas rocket attack on the Kerem Shalom humanitarian aid crossing point, launched just 350 meters from a civilian camp in Rafah. The attack temporarily forced the closure of this key entry point for humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Hezbollah terrorists fired more than 150 rockets at northern Israel, injuring three Israelis and causing damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. Tens of thousands of Israelis remain displaced from their homes due to these near daily attacks from Lebanon.
The IDF destroyed a Hamas command center operating inside an UNRWA building in the Gaza strip. Hamas used the UNRWA facility (endangering innocent civilians taking refuge there) as a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops and humanitarian corridors in recent weeks.
Houthi terrorists continued to attack Israeli-linked shipping traffic in the Red Sea, launching three missiles at a Malta-flagged container ship, reportedly "due to its listed operator’s ongoing trade with Israel."
The examples above are but the latest incidents in the multi-front war now being waged against Israel.
Since October 7, Iran and its proxies have attacked Israel from seven fronts: Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank, Yemen, Syria, Iraq , and even Iran itself, which last month fired hundreds of drones and missiles in an unprecedented direct attack on the Jewish state.
Friend of Israel, we cannot allow this growing terrorist threat against Israel to go unchecked.
Sincerely,
Brian Shankman
