Tell the Army Corps to Reject Line 5
Hi John,
Enbridge Line 5 is a dangerous and polluting pipeline that is a ticking time bomb. It could spill crude oil into our waters at any moment, which would contaminate the waters of surrounding communities. Use your voice to help put an end to this pipeline.
Despite the fact that the state of Wisconsin has not moved forward with a final environmental review or issued permits, the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is moving forward with a public hearing and written comment period regarding a forthcoming environmental assessment (EA) of Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline expansion.
We need you to tell the USACE that they need to stop Enbridge from operating this pipeline. It threatens the Great Lakes and surrounding areas, including the Bad River Reservation, with an oil spill. It's old and falling apart – the time has come to shut this antiquated pipeline down.
The USACE will be holding a public hearing on June 4 at Northwood Technical College in Ashland. We need you to show up and make your voice heard at this critical time.
