This year, longtime Democratic activist and former MassDems Chair John Walsh will be posthumously honored with a Roosevelt Award for his inspiring legacy of leadership deserving of our enduring gratitude . Additional incredible Roosvelt Awardees include The Honorable Former Speaker Bob DeLeo for his outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to advancing democratic principles and Democratic Activist Linda Whitlock for her tireless advocacy and dedication to championing democratic values and causes.
We will also be presenting the Activist Award, established last year in honor of Chris Condon's legacy. This year, MassDems will be honoring Reproductive Equity Now President Becca Hart Holder and Reproductive Freedom Activists everywhere for their tireless work in the years post-Dobbs to ensure that all people have the right to choose what to do with their own body.
