SPECIAL GUESTS: Michael Fanone [[link removed]] and Philip J. Hirschkop [[link removed]] will receive General Assembly commendations from Senate Majority Leader Scott Surovell. Mr. Fanone was badly injured during the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and is an outspoken voice against the violent rhetoric that incited the attack on the Capitol and MAGA extremism in all its forms. Mr. Hirschkop is an American civil rights lawyer who, with attorney Bernard S. Cohen , represented Mildred and Richard Loving [[link removed]] in several court cases to overturn the Lovings' conviction for interracial marriage in the state of Virginia.
