Hi John xxxxxx, first and foremost, we want to thank you for being part of this team. At a time like this, it means the world. Truly.
We know you’ve heard from us a few times this last week. I hope you take it as a sign of just how important this general election is. We have to raise the funds to win.
The truth is that the vast majority of our donations come from emails like this. Where the Tories have a vast network of major donors, we rely far more on people like you. You are our secret weapon.
Keir Starmer has changed the Labour Party. He has returned it to our roots as a party that seeks to serve working people. A party you can be proud to be a part of.
Today, we are so grateful for the outpouring of support people have given to our email appeals. Keir, Angela, Rachel, all of us here at Labour HQ. In the first week alone, you’ve contributed an astonishing amount. It’s humbling.
We cannot slow down now. Early donations make twice the impact and we’ve still got a hell of a gap to close. It’s a long campaign ahead, but you’ve shown us the difference you can make. We need you with us every step of the way.
