I hope you’re doing well. It’s been a busy month, and I wanted to give you a recap of what’s been happening - and then respectfully ask for your support. Here is what has been going on:

Former President Donald Trump visited Minnesota and made some false claims during his speech at a political dinner.

He falsely asserted that he won Minnesota in the last election, a blatant attempt to mislead voters – which could further undermine our democratic process.

He’s entitled to take any position on any issue, but he’s not entitled to repeat provably false statements about our elections in Minnesota. The truth is, Joe Biden won Minnesota in 2020 by more than 7 points, with a margin of over 233,000 votes. This was not a close race.

Election disinformation is dangerous and undermines the integrity of our democratic process. We need to raise $10,000 by the end of the month to fight back against these false narratives and protect our elections. Will you chip in now?

The legislative session ended and I’m proud to report that we built upon our significant reforms to expand access to voting and increase election integrity. I’m keeping my promise to ensure Minnesota has a robust, resilient, and secure election system.

We passed the Minnesota Voting Rights Act, which will immediately restore the long-held voter protections in the U.S. Voting Rights Act of 1965 that were struck down by the courts in 2023.

I’ve spent the last two years ensuring that our election system is secure and that all eligible voters have access to the ballot box. Now, it’s time to put those laws to the test as we look towards November.
