Haley’s new approach to lawmaking and campaigning is catching national attention.

COVID-19 is changing everything about the way campaigns are done -- including how Haley gets back home to her district! Because flying isn't preferred in a pandemic, Haley is road tripping to and from Washington, DC to vote and continue fighting for MI-11.

As she updates social media and works from the car, she’s ensuring that our health care workers on the frontlines have proper equipment, our communities are staying healthy, and our families are getting what they need during this crisis.

Whether it’s on the road or in her home office -- Haley’s taking every chance to keep working for Michigan’s 11th District. Take a look at her work on the road:

HALEY’S CAR LOG

1:00 PM: And we’re off! The house is clean, the bags are packed, and the dogs are in the car. We’re ready to roll!

1:30 PM: A call with folks on the ground for our daily update on the conditions back home.

2:30 PM: First pitstop -- snacks. Lots of snacks.

4:05 PM: Marking up notes on legislation and catching up on the latest news while we make our way on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

5:10 PM: A video call with my campaign team going over new voter outreach methods.

6:35 PM: Second pitstop for gas and letting the dogs stretch their legs. I was tired, but then immediately thought how tired our selfless and fearless doctors, nurses, and medical staff working on the frontlines must be.

7:00 PM: Posted a video thanking our medical personnel, checked messages from community members, and sent an email to our campaign supporters.

7:45 PM: Called neighbors, friends, and community leaders to see how they’re doing while we grabbed a quick dinner.

9:15 PM: We see Toledo! Almost home.

10:47 PM: We’re back in Michigan. Back home. Ready to rest. Tomorrow, we keep fighting!

Haley’s work for Southeastern Michigan might look different in the age of coronavirus, but there’s no doubt about it: She’s still doing all she can to fight for us.
