We know we’ve sent you several fundraising emails ahead of Eugene’s FEC fundraising deadline tonight. It’s not our favorite thing to ask for money, but we hoped that this team would take these messages as a sign of just how important this moment is to our campaign.
But with hours to go until our deadline, it’s time to be brutally honest:
Our fundraising has not picked up the way we need it to, and now we're just a few hours away from our deadline and at serious risk of coming up short of our goals.
These goals are what it takes to reach the voters we need to persuade, to turn out, and to win in Virginia on the June 18th Primary. And whether or not we hit these goals will ultimately be the difference between Eugene winning this race and fighting to keep this seat out of MAGA hands.
