I'm running for Congress because our families, freedoms, and futures are at stake. Our current Congressman's failures have had a direct impact on our lives, and it's time for a change.

I will strive to lead with experience, curiosity, courage, and integrity to earn voters' trust and create better policies for Northern Michigan and the UP. My platform is specific and robust, but it all starts with my bedrock of principles:

• Integrity and Empathy
• Courage and Humility
• Authenticity and Resilience
• Kindness and  Compassion
• Accountability and Honesty
• Curiosity and Open-mindedness 

When leaders don't operate from this base, inevitably, they're a let-down. I want to embody these values because the constituency deserves them, they've been absent for far too long, and it's all reflected in Rep. Bergman's policy failures.

We're fighting for single payer universal healthcare, affordable housing, education and childcare, the environment, LGBTQ and women's rights, and so much more. 

These issues are giving us significant momentum.

On the second leg of a two-cycle strategy to send Bergman home, my newly reinvigorated candidacy positions us as the best possible head-to-head match against Rep. Bergman, who has never faced a second-time challenger.
