Mi gente, it’s Ruben. It’s been clear to me from the very beginning that this was a special team.

I’m counting on that now, because we just had to make an incredibly tough choice.

We’ve gone up with a huge, historic advertising reservation in Arizona — $19 million in the home stretch. We did that based on our fundraising data so far, and what we know Kari Lake and the GOP are going to be spending against us. It was a tough decision to make, and it put a big hole in our budget.

If we’re going to have any shot at victory in Arizona, any shot at defeating Lake and Trump, we have to spend that much (and more). But there is no guarantee that we’ll raise the resources we need to pay for it. And since we made those reservations, our fundraising has plummeted.

It’s bad news, and the timing is absolutely terrible.

I’m coming to you with this information because you’ve always shown up when I needed you. I’m hoping you’ll have my back right now, because we’re just a couple days from our May deadline and we’re extremely far behind on our progress to goal.

I need you. There’s no other way to put it. Please, make a donation to my campaign and help us close our budget gap. Chip in whatever you can. These goals aren’t arbitrary — they’re what we need to raise to win.
