In a secret mailer to select households in their district, Brian touted his extreme, conservative voting record, including his support of the ‘Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,’ which aims to spread misinformation about “late-term abortions.”Additionally, he voted to cut the VA’s budget by 22% and even blocked his own gun violence prevention measures.

Ashley is a combat veteran who believes that access to abortion and reproductive healthcare is a national security issue. Meanwhile, her opponent, Brian Fitzpatrick, has spent a significant amount of his time in office working to block women’s access to reproductive healthcare. In contrast, Ashley has made a point of stating her support for The Women’s Health Protection Act, which would federally codify Roe v. Wade. She told us she looks forward to casting her vote in its favor in Congress.

Here are recent updates in this race:

✅ As of TODAY, the DCCC officially added Ashley’s race to their Red To Blue program – which means this is one of the most important races happening in the COUNTRY.
✅ Ashley has gained active support from many key endorsement organizations, including the DCCC, Indivisible, VoteVets, and The Congressional Integrity Project.
✅ Ashley’s opponent (Fitzpatrick) won the Republican primary by his smallest margin to date, even after spending over 1 million of his own dollars and getting support from Super PACS.

But here’s the thing: Only 40% of voters in this district believe that Fitzpatrick would vote for a national abortion ban (he already has!). When voters are actually informed that Fitzpatrick HAS ALREADY VOTED FOR AN ABORTION BAN, Ashley jumps ahead and takes a 7-point lead. We need to help Ashely’s campaign inform voters of Fitzpatrick’s record – and we want to raise $1,750 before the end of the month to kick-start their social media campaign with this message.
