My name is Katherine Clark. I proudly represent Massachusetts’ 5th Congressional District and am the Democratic Whip in the House of Representatives.

As Democratic Whip, my job is to follow the votes, work with members of our Caucus, and ensure our party continues to work together to pass legislation that will benefit working families. I’m reaching out today to explain why reelecting Kim Schrier is essential to this goal.

As one of only two pro-choice women doctors in Congress, Kim has been instrumental in advocating for lowering prescription drug costs, creating affordable healthcare for all, and protecting our reproductive freedoms.

But with a narrow four-seat majority in the House, national Republicans are eyeing Kim’s seat as a top target to flip. Kim’s work and ability to fight for the hard-working people of WA-08 is hanging in the balance. And while she’s never been one to back down from a fight, she’ll need all the support we can get for her to win in November.

We may have our best shot yet to flip the majority, but we have to hang on to every vulnerable seat to do it. That starts with reelecting Kim.
