Preliminary unemployment rates for April 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 2.8%, lower than March’s rate of 3.0%. This rate is the third lowest of all Michigan counties in April.
Across the state, rates ranged from 2.5% in Livingston County to 14.3% in Mackinac County.
