📆 Tactical Voting recommendations will be revealed on Monday 17th June

For the first time in a UK General Election, you'll need to bring photo ID with you in order to vote in person.

This includes:

• Passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport Card)
• Driving licence issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state (this includes a provisional driving licence)
• A Blue Badge
• Older Person’s Bus Pass funded by the UK Government
• Disabled Person’s Bus Pass funded by the UK Government
• Voter Authority Certificate
• Identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
• Anonymous Elector's Document

You will only need to show one form of photo ID, and it needs to be the original version and not a photocopy. If your photo ID is out of date you can still use it, so long as the photo on it looks like you.

If you don't have any of these types of Voter ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate here.

Photo ID will be required by anybody voting at a polling station on July 4th.

If you're not sure you'll be able to vote in person on polling day you can request a postal vote.

You'll also need to ensure you've registered to vote at your current address, so if you've moved since you last voted or aren't sure whether you're registered, take 5 minutes to do so now.
