📆 Tactical Voting
recommendations will be revealed on Monday 17th

You'll need to bring ID to vote in this
election, John |
|
|
For the first time in a UK General Election, you'll need to
bring photo ID with you in order to vote in person.
This includes:
- Passport issued by the UK, any
of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory,
an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport
Card)
-
Driving licence issued by the
UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state (this
includes a provisional driving licence)
-
A Blue Badge
-
Older Person’s Bus Pass
funded by the UK Government
-
Disabled Person’s Bus Pass
funded by the UK Government
-
Voter Authority
Certificate
-
Identity card bearing the
Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
- Anonymous Elector's Document
|
You will only need to
show one form of photo ID, and it needs to be the original version and
not a photocopy. If your photo ID is out of date you can still use it,
so long as the photo on it looks like you. |
Help - I don't have any of these!
If you don't have any of these types of
Voter ID, you can apply
for a free Voter Authority Certificate here.
|
Photo ID will be required by anybody voting at a polling
station on July 4th.
If you're not sure you'll be able to vote in person on polling day
you can request
a postal vote.
You'll also need to ensure you've registered to vote at your
current address, so if you've moved since you last voted or aren't
sure whether you're registered, take
5 minutes to do so now.
