We waited for days to see who controlled the U.S. House — and nearly all of the closest, final seats were in California. Unfortunately, a few tossup districts went red and Republicans won their Majority.
This year the California Democratic Party is working to mobilize earlier than ever before by hiring organizers, opening regional offices, and pounding the pavement in tossup seats.
That’s why it’s urgently important that we hit our goal of raising another $15,000 before midnight tonight. Launching our programs earlier than ever isn’t cheap, and if we start slipping behind on our fundraising goals, we have to have tough conversations about possibly slowing our outreach.

(2) If we have the resources to mobilize in key districts, we *CAN* flip the U.S. House from red to blue right here in California.
(3) But right now, because California trends blue at the Presidential level, not enough Democrats are paying attention to our state.
