Does Donald Trump still believe climate change is “mythical” or “nonexistent”?

How will President Biden’s policies next term ensure that marginalized communities don’t continue to bear the brunt of the climate crisis?

The American people deserve answers to these questions and more, John — but we won’t hear them if CNN doesn’t ask a single climate question at the upcoming presidential debate.

We’re asking every person reading this email to sign a petition telling CNN to include climate change as a topic in their debate and then suggest a question for the candidates.

Every elected official needs to know that we’re watching them when it comes to climate policy. We won’t let them sidestep or dodge our questions any longer — it’s way too late for that.

The climate crisis is the defining issue of our time. The course we chart today will determine whether future generations thrive or suffer — and the President of the United States must be someone ready to take bold action in the fight for our future.
