The clock is ticking. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called a general election for 4th July. With under six weeks to go, all parties are compiling their manifestos. This is our chance to make our voices heard!

We urgently need the next government to champion climate and nature. If we speak up now and show politicians that climate votes helped get them elected, we can hold them to account for climate action when they form the next government.

With Labour leading in the polls [1], we’re writing to party leader Keir Starmer to demand a clearer and more ambitious vision for climate solutions for this country. Don’t ask, don’t get! Will you join us?

To help Keir along, we’ve even identified six areas where it’s absolutely vital for the next government to make progress [2]. None of this is pie-in-the-sky stuff. They’re common-sense, tried-and-tested and popular policies that any climate-ready government should adopt to rebuild our country.

Like us, we know you’re ready for a change. But - at this pivotal moment - we can’t afford complacency. Let’s show Starmer that to win our votes, he needs to champion bold climate solutions and give us the brighter future we so desperately need.
