I don’t need to tell you that this election is a big one for our democracy. But what you may not know is that one of the most important fights will be the one to secure fair maps.

Redistricting — with politicians often redrawing electoral maps to try and give their party an advantage — affects every part of our democracy. And it’s happening constantly. If we don’t do the work today to make maps more fair, gerrymandered maps will continue to drown out the will of the people for years to come.
