I'll be blunt, Samuel: It's been a tough year for Democrats.

We started 2017 with the inauguration of Donald Trump, and we've spent the
last twelve months rebuilding our party from the ground up. It hasn't been
easy -- but you know as well as I do that this work is crucial.

Together, we are reforming the Democratic Party to make it more inclusive
and more transparent. We are working to bring together stalwart Democratic
voters while welcoming new people into the fold. And we are organizing in
all 50 states around a positive message to move our country forward.

But here's the truth, Samuel. Rebuilding our party is not only hard work --
it requires a lot of investment. And that investment is made possible by
grassroots supporters like you. With just a few days until our critical FEC
fundraising deadline, there's no better time to show you're standing with
