Naja’Ray and Nashara represent the positive impact that young people can have in their community. Across Colorado, I am proud to partner with and champion young people and support their work to keep their communities safe, to address our addiction crisis, and to promote youth mental health. A few weeks ago, I was honored and humbled to receive this year’s Youth Champion of the Year Award from the Boys & Girls Club of Colorado–and joined Naja’Ray and Nashara again.

At the AG’s Office, we are focused on youth mental health, including prosecuting our lawsuit against Meta for harming young people by how they manage their platform. We are also investing the almost $32 million we brought back to Colorado by suing JUUL, driving preventive youth mental health measures that help stop young people from turning to vaping and other substances. Finally, I will continue to show up across our state–as I did in Alamosa, Delta, La Junta, and other communities last year–to learn how communities are meeting this challenge.
Thank you for supporting this critical work.
Phil
