GOVERNOR HOLCOMB ANNOUNCES ELI LILLY TO DOUBLE INVESTMENT AND CREATE 200 MORE NEW JOBS

John, It’s another great day in Indiana!


At the Indiana Global Economic Summit, Governor Holcomb announced that Eli Lilly will more than double their investment in Indiana with an additional $5.3 billion. This news brings Eli Lilly’s total commitment to Indiana to $9 billion in investment.


Additionally, Lilly will create 200 more full-time jobs for highly skilled workers, including engineers, scientists, operating personnel, and lab technicians, bringing the total planned number of jobs to 900!

These massive investments are bringing back American manufacturing jobs, and Lilly expects to begin making medicine at the LEAP Research and Innovation District in Lebanon by 2026.
