Hey y'all -- A really cool thing happened last weekend in Ohio. Our State Director Katy held a regional virtual Redistricting U. More than thirty folks in Northeast Ohio came together to strategize how to fight for fair maps in their community.

It's been great to see more and more people getting involved in this movement. And we need it -- citizen engagement is going to be more important than ever because of attempts we've seen to suppress the vote in states like Wisconsin. Trainings like this one make it possible for folks to dig in and start thinking about what is essential for their communities' redistricting -- whether it's reuniting neighborhoods that were previously cracked or making sure a traditionally under-represented community gets a shot at fairness.
