With the election being on 4 July, it means there won't be a vote to decriminalise abortion for women on 4 June.

So this is a thank you email. To the 6558 of you that emailed your MP, and the 9139 of you that signed our petition. Thank you.

Our hopes are not dashed, just delayed. We will continue to fight for abortion rights in the new government.

** The Cost of Living Factor Report

Thank you to all of you who took the time to respond to our survey on the factors influencing your decision to have an abortion. We know the emotional labour that can be involved in sharing experiences like these, so we really appreciated your being willing and able to do so for us.

We published the results of our survey in a report that highlights the impact of the cost of living on women's abortion decisions. You can read the report here ([link removed]) .

As you can see, we've used some of your quotes, though for brevity and to ensure privacy, we've often shortened these and removed identifying features.
