You may have already noticed an uptick in emails from political candidates across the country saying that they’re approaching one of the biggest fundraising deadlines of the year to date on Friday.

They’re not wrong, folks.

A lot of these emails have even come from us.

We want to pull back the curtain and tell you what all the urgency is about: At the end of each month, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) requires our campaign to release our fundraising numbers to the public. Everyone -- Donald Trump, the media -- will be watching to gauge the overall strength of the movement we’re building.

But right now, we’re at risk of falling incredibly short. Take a look:
