There's one thing you shouldn't have to worry about right now: Your membership.
To expand access and provide stability for our members, we are:
|
|
|

In other words, you do not need to renew or upgrade your membership to access the benefits listed here, including eligibility to apply for research presentations and travel scholarships. Simply sign-up for or continue your SACNISTA-level membership.
Pausing all renewals for existing paid members through August 1, 2020.
Connecting with partner organizations like AISES, AIHEC, and TCUs, to identify specific ways to support our Native American and Indigenous members
Formalizing a cross-departmental staff group to identify additional year-round webinars and virtual programming options.
Exploring online forums for member support and resource-sharing. If you have an idea for a specific forum/topic, email [email protected].

For Those Looking to Take Action

Donate to support SACNAS year-round programs and member services.
Join the SACNAS Story Bank — our database of members available to talk to the press and media about various topics including climate change, LGBTQ+ issues, implicit bias, and more. Now is the time to raise the visibility of our expertise and perspectives in STEM.
Sign up to review student applications online. We continue to receive many applications for research presentations and travel scholarships. Volunteer to support our student's hard work!
If you haven't yet, take part in the #ScienceRising challenge and ensure that your voice is heard in this year's election.

(If you need a reminder, check out our 2019 Annual Report!)
As always, SACNAS is a family and we will get through this together (and virtually!).
