Dear John,

Ilhan Omar has a plan and as usual, it will make America worse.

She revealed her scheme in a tweet yesterday, to provide housing assistance, job opportunities, and mental health services TO THOSE WHO DIED defending our country.

In the most charitable reading of her since-deleted tweet, Ilhan and her staff have no idea what Memorial Day is in America and confused it with Veterans Day, which falls annually in November.

Either way, for Ilhan, any American holiday or commemoration is an opportunity to promote her divisive social justice policies.

You don’t need a college degree to understand the civics lessons we should have learned in elementary school.

But Ilhan also wants to hollow out our universities by TAKING YOUR MONEY TO PAY FOR STUDENT DEBT, INCLUDING HER OWN.

And as we’ve seen, she supports the kind of ahistorical education that produced the tentifada of antisemitic and anti-American protests on college campuses across the United States.

So maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that Ilhan Omar now wants to provide “quality mental health services” to America's fallen war heroes.

Perhaps Ilhan will refer those who passed on to the medical students at UCLA, half of whom now fail basic tests of medical competence as a result of the racial preference and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs that she also supports.

Enough is enough. Stand with me.
