John,
This district isn’t just where we are from; it’s who we are.
It’s crazy to think that over twenty years ago, Matt and I were going to Cheboygan High School prom.

We met at the same high school my parents met and my grandparents before them. Whether it’s memories of school dances or local festivals, Upper and Northern Michigan have shaped us for the better.
It’s this community that gave us the strength to overcome the obstacles we faced during Matt’s military service and afterward.
Seeing these pictures now, I’m reminded of the importance of having representation that understands our challenges, values our traditions, and fights for our future.
I’ve spent the past year traveling across our district, talking with many of you about your hopes and concerns. We’ve all come to the same conclusion: we need leaders who care and act. We need leaders who are from here for here.
This campaign isn’t just about me — it’s about us. It’s about ensuring that our voices are heard and our needs are met. Together, we can bring real change to MI-01.
But to do that, I need your help. We’re approaching another monthly fundraising deadline, and we’re still $3,000 short of our goal. Will you chip in $10 or whatever you can right now to support my campaign?
