Let’s get straight to the point:
Fresh off the Supreme Court's shameful decision to uphold South Carolina’s racial gerrymander, we’re facing a critical goal. We need to raise $25,000 before midnight on May 31st in order to ensure we can fight back *and* keep our programs at the NDRC running strong — The clock is ticking!
Apologies for the urgency — but we all know democracy is on the ballot this year, and it’s integral that we meet every… single… goal… if we’re going to be successful in the most consequential election of our lifetimes.
The Supreme Court’s South Carolina ruling proves that we need to mobilize like never before for this election. And you’re the kind of Democrat who knows that the future of our democracy also depends on MANY races that will have a serious impact on how maps get drawn and how our system functions. That’s where the NDRC is laser focused on making sure we don’t come up short.
Our 11 Priority States include contests for key state legislatures, a governor's race, state supreme courts, and an important ballot initiative. We need to do everything we can to elect Democracy Defenders across the country.
We have a proven strategy, but it depends on having the resources to run an effective program. That’s why reaching our May fundraising goal is so critical.
Before the clock runs out, we’re asking you to make a donation to the NDRC to help us reach our $25,000 goal: [[link removed]]
