With just under six months until Election Day, the stakes have never been higher. Let me explain.

This November isn’t just an election between Democrats and Republicans. It’s a fight between progress and stability, and chaos and extremism. It’s about putting a party in the House majority that wants to do good things for the American people, one that puts people over politics.

I have a long track record of working with Republicans and Democrats to get some real wins for the 8th district. But majorities matter. Majorities set the agenda and determine what to prioritize in the next two years. What we’re seeing right now from this Republican majority is chaos and dysfunction. They are fighting with each other, pursuing absurd impeachments, and inserting themselves in personal medical decisions. That’s not what my constituents are looking for!

The GOP wants to keep their majority so they can continue to instill their MAGA agenda into our government. But we all deserve better.

We need to step up to ensure their political games don’t win the day this November. We have to do everything we can to get Democrats back into the majority so we can get back to governing for the people.
