The Senators Protect IVF, but From Whom?

A bill introduced by Ted Cruz and Katie Boyd Britt is moral and political malpractice.

Sens. Ted Cruz and Katie Boyd Britt no doubt sincerely believe “IVF is profoundly pro-family,” but they are profoundly mistaken. As practiced, in vitro fertilization requires killing human beings at their earliest stage of existence. Many more embryos are produced than can ever be brought to term. We may store excess embryos for years, but eventually those not destroyed in the procedure itself will be discarded.
