We hope you were able to take some time this long weekend to honor everyone who gave their lives for our freedom. And now you’re here to join us in protecting one of those freedoms- the freedom to access safe and legal abortion!

So let’s channel our feminist rage by reading about the good, the bad, and the downright horrifying abortion stories of the hour!

OHIO: DON’T MESS WITH THE BUCKEYE STATE!
WE LOVE TO SEE IT! The Department of Justice is suing two anti-abortion goon organizations, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society and Red Rose Rescue, for violating the FACE Act (a federal law that protects providers from asshats and their clinic invasions). Abortion Access Front has gone up against both these villainous organizations before, and trust us, they are the WORST! Let the "finding out" portion of "fucking around" commence!

LOUISIANA: WTF ARE YOU EVEN DOING?
In a state with one of the highest maternal mortality rates, you’d think they’d want to address that instead of reclassifying FDA APPROVED AND EXTREMELY SAFE abortion medications as "controlled dangerous substances". Oh, and also? Patients who take it will be TRACKABLE in a state database! We’re not sure what level of hell this terrible idea came from, but we’re definitely sure everyone who supports it is a terrible person.
