John,

Earlier this month we hosted our annual gala in New York City, and it was truly an inspiring and memorable celebration.

We uplifted seven people who were exonerated in the last year and honored changemakers in the innocence community who have helped push our mission forward. The night included powerful stories from exoneree Tyrone Day and anti-death penalty advocate and exoneree Kirk Bloodsworth, who, together with the 42 other freed and exonerated in attendance, help drive our work every day.

If you weren’t able to attend this year, don’t worry, you can still share in the celebration by taking a look at some of the magical moments from our 2024 ‘Celebration of Freedom & Justice’. [[link removed]]

Seeing so many people who deeply care about transforming our criminal legal system in one space was incredibly energizing.

We hope to see you there next year.

Thank you for all of your support,

— The Innocence Project Team

The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the organization is now an independent nonprofit. Our work is guided by science and grounded in anti-racism.
