John, it's Chuy García.

My colleagues Adriano Espaillat, Lou Correa, and I have earned the nickname "Los 3 Amigos" in Congress for our unwavering commitment to protecting immigrants and advocating for the rights of ALL workers. 💪

I want to share more about our advocacy work, but first, you need to know—my campaign's End of Month Deadline is just a few days away. Reaching our goal is crucial for keeping our campaign strong leading up to Election Day. John, can you chip in and support our people-powered efforts?

As a group, it's important for us that we advocate for better pay, better opportunities, and better treatment for workers.

That's why we recently urged the Biden administration to use its executive powers to grant work permits to undocumented immigrants.

This action would protect immigrants from exploitation and bolster our economy, potentially increasing annual tax revenue by $13.8 billion.

However, our work is far from over. The disparity between newly arrived migrants who can obtain work permits and long-term undocumented immigrants who cannot is growing. It is crucial we provide the same opportunities to those who have lived and worked in our country for years.

As your representative for Illinois, I'm committed to continuing this fight and ensuring that the voices of our communities are heard in Congress.

But I cannot do this alone.

Amigo, with the elections approaching, it's crucial to have representatives in Congress who are dedicated to fighting for the rights of workers and immigrants. That’s why I am running for reelection— to continue the progress we're making for Illinois. But before that, we need to reach Our End of Month Goal. Can you chip in today to ensure I can continue being your advocate in Congress?

Gracias for your support, amigo!

In unity,

Chuy García
