Submit Your Storm Heaven Intentions First Saturday, June 1

Dear Friend,

Cardinal Burke will offer the Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass, for the intentions of the Rosary Warriors, as well as the specific intentions that you will submit, on First Saturday, June 1, which will be said privately.  At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary asked that on the first Saturday of any five consecutive months, Catholics go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, say five decades of the Rosary, and keep her company while meditating on those mysteries of the Rosary for 15 minutes.

Rosary Warriors, what intentions will you submit that are the most pressing, not only in your life, but "in these sometimes seemingly apocalyptic times", as Cardinal Burke mentioned in his recent commencement speech at Thomas Aquinas College? Let us ask through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for God will not refuse her.

June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is Christ, the Word Incarnate. Devotion to the Sacred Heart calls us to convert and repent, not only for our sins, but for the sins of the world. 

In a homily, Cardinal Burke said: 

“The heart of Jesus in fact represents the whole of the mystery of faith, the whole of the pascal mystery, the mystery of the redemptive incarnation, for it represents that constant immeasurable outpouring of divine grace from the glorious heart of Jesus assumed into heaven upon the Church and into the souls of all the faithful.  We know that Our Lord is always true to His promise – for us, our salvation, our eternal salvation and we see in the heart of Jesus, the glorious pierced heart of Jesus, the sign of that fidelity of the Lord to His promises, the anchor of our hope.”

Now, let us contemplate other prayer intentions you may want to submit. Here are some suggestions, which you can also remember when attending Holy Mass and praying the Holy Rosary:

(1) Let us reach out to Our Mother Mary, who has the ability to help us in our most difficult trials. Are you, a family member, a loved one, or anyone on your prayer list experiencing a hardship – financial, medical, or a loss?  Is there any troubling aspect in your life that you want to be freed of?  

 (2) Let us include our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, Godfathers, as well as fathers who have had children leave the church, fathers who struggle to provide for their children, fathers that suffer from any type of addiction – their names should definitely be included.

 (3) Many priests have Ordination Anniversaries in June. Let us remember them. Also, priests who are special to you, priests who are suffering, either physically or emotionally. Those priests whom no one loves; priests who are being persecuted. Let us include intentions for Seminaries and Seminarians who are studying for the Priesthood, for their sanctification.
