It's Emily, the Chair of the Crawford County Democrats, and we're so proud of the work we've been able to accomplish alongside the Kansas Democratic Party.

Just over the last year, we've made huge strides: From establishing our full-time office, to kicking off our voter contact efforts – giving Democrats a fighting chance in rural Kansas.

The Kansas Democratic Party has given us the foundation we need to grow our coalition in the most important areas.

Keeping margins close in rural Kansas is imperative to winning statewide elections, and building the party in rural areas will help us win in 2024 and beyond. Before I get into how Kansas Democrats are helping rural voters like us, I have a favor to ask. John, the State Party has set a digital goal of 400 unique donors to help continue growing our coalition across Kansas. Could you pitch in today to become one and support our mission to get people-first representatives in office?

Rural Kansans are historically underserved, John. As a sixth-generation Kansan, I’m dedicated to changing that and helping Crawford County grow.

And while Kansas Democrats are working to make life better for all Kansans, the far-right extremists in the legislature are playing political games with rural Kansans' infrastructure, economies, and access to services – from simple things like the internet to life-changing health care. 

That's why the Kansas Dems are putting in the work to grow the party in rural areas and giving local democrats a fighting chance by:

✅ Recruiting and coaching candidates for every office
✅ Growing our grassroots coalition and support network
✅ Training and hiring staff and volunteers 
✅ Helping local parties establish offices

The Kansas Dems are with us, on the ground, to win – and with your continued grassroots support, we can get folks the representation they deserve.

John, the Kansas Democrats have been working hard to make sure we're all included in the vision for Kansas's future, and they've been committed to helping us be effective at the county level.
