It wasn’t until I grew older that I realized the sacrifices my dad had
made for me and my siblings. He worked hard so we could have every
opportunity he’d never had. He wanted to give us the world. And you
know what, he did!
My dad would get home well past midnight
sometimes, John.
I was just a kid then, so I didn’t really
think much of it. Keys jingling in the night and a weary sigh don’t
mean much to you if you’ve heard them regularly for as long as you can
remember.
My dad worked as a banquet bartender, John. He
worked long hours and often got home late. He worked
hard.
This is my dad
working as a bartender.
It wasn’t until I grew older that I

Only through the power of the American
Dream can the son of a bartender become a US
Senator!
That is the American Dream,
John. It’s truly a beautiful thing. But sadly, the socialist and the
radical Left want to see the promise of the American Dream
squashed.
That’s why I ran for office in the
first place. My dad and so many other great American parents have
worked too hard to let the American Dream die! Seriously, America is
the greatest nation in history because everyone here knows that
through hard work you can make a better life for your
family.
