John, the past month has been busy for Brad and his work to make our city run better for all New Yorkers.
So before our end-of-month deadline in three days, we wanted to share three of the most recent ways that Brad has made a vital difference for New Yorkers:
- After 8+ months of Brad sounding the alarm about the City’s exorbitantly-priced, no-bid contract with DocGo, the Adams administration finally dropped its $432 million contract with the underqualified and problematic company.
- Brad’s office won $2.7 million in back wages for health care office workers who had been misclassified by their employers. Since 2022, Brad has secured $8 million in back wages and civil penalties for New York City workers.
- On behalf of NYC pension funds, Brad reached agreements with three of the biggest banks in North America to publicly disclose how much they are investing in fossil fuels compared to clean energy.
As the city’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accountability Officer, Brad is leading the way, providing the oversight and advocacy New York City needs. And he most certainly isn’t slowing down from here.
Will you chip in $10 before this Friday’s deadline to help Brad continue his work for a more effective and equitable city? All donations (up to $250) are matched 8-to-1 by the city.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you,
