About half of California’s native freshwater species are highly vulnerable to extinction within this century—and with climate change accelerating, the window to save them is closing fast. Our new report argues that urgent action is needed to avoid the worst effects, and it outlines a suite of bold tools to save species in a rapidly changing world.
