Hi John — It’s Alexander Vindman. I am reaching out today with an important request. Please hear me out.
Over two decades ago, Eugene and I swore an oath to protect our country, its people, and our democracy from harm's way when we joined the U.S. Army.
Our oath was tested four years ago when Eugene — a former Colonel and the senior ethics official at the National Security Council in the White House — and I decided to do our patriotic duty and stand up to Donald Trump.
We reported Trump’s corrupt phone call with Ukraine, and our actions eventually led to his impeachment. But that decision to stand up for the integrity of the office of the presidency led to us both being fired by Trump and eventually ending our decades-long careers in military service.
John, Eugene and I have seen the danger Donald Trump poses to our democracy firsthand, and under no circumstance would Eugene let Trump deter him from serving our country in whatever capacity he could.
So Eugene decided to run for Congress in Virginia, where he will continue the fight to defend our democracy and the Constitution both of us swore to protect.
But he can't win those fights alone.
Eugene faces his primary election in three weeks and is coming up on his final FEC fundraising deadline before the election TOMORROW. We have less than 48 hours to hit our fundraising goals and prove that this grassroots movement has what it takes to take on the MAGA GOP this November.
So please,
