Friend – The time is finally here! We're excited to celebrate ACLU of D.C.'s Bill of Rights Celebration on Monday, June 3, 6 p.m. at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. If you haven't already, get your tickets today. We're excited to commemorate another year of fighting for civil rights and civil liberties in the District of Columbia! This year we're thrilled to honor outstanding people in D.C. who defend our civil liberties, including D.C. student groups and long time civil rights advocate, Mary Beth Tinker. Join us for a night celebrating our D.C. community, featuring a performance by the Eastern High School Marching Band and emceed by the amazing Tara Hoot.
These are challenging times for civil rights and civil liberties – but together, we've been able to achieve some remarkable things, with more victories sure to come. We think that's worth celebrating, and we hope you'll join us on Monday, June 3, to do just that! We look forward to seeing you there, ACLU of the District of Columbia |
