Dear Friend, Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 10:00 am, my office is hosting a webinar focused on ensuring that veterans across our state have access to information on eligibility and benefits through the PACT Act. The webinar will include presentations by special guests from the Veterans Benefits Administration and is one of several that my office has hosted to spread the word about how historic laws such as the PACT Act are benefitting Delawareans. You can sign up for the webinar below: | PACT Act Benefits Webinar When: Wednesday, May 29, 2024 Time: 10:00 am To register for this webinar, click the button below. | The PACT Act, which I supported in Congress, secured the largest expansion of VA benefits in our history. It expanded eligibility to veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. In fact, just last week we learned that over 1 million PACT Act claims have now been granted to 888,000 veterans and survivors across the country. In Delaware, nearly 5,000 veterans have submitted claims under the PACT Act. Last year, I was appointed to serve on Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries' Regional Leadership Council - a group of 12 members of Congress selected to help lead the implementation and communication of the transformative legislation passed in the 117th Congress. That includes the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the PACT Act, and more. I'll continue to do my part to ensure that Delaware's veterans are able to get the benefits they have not only earned but deserve. | If you have additional questions about this webinar, please contact my office to speak with a member of my staff. | Rep.
