John xxxxxx - we’re asking you to give just £5 to support
Labour today.

Here’s why this is important:
This is going to be the most expensive election in UK history. The Tories
guaranteed this when they almost doubled the campaign spending limits.
They are desperate.
We’ve never seen this level of spending in our elections before. It will significantly increase the Tories’ chances of holding onto power for
five more years.
Cancelling levelling-up money promised to towns across the country and diverting it to the latest desperate nonsense: reintroducing national service to use 18 year olds to fix the Armed Forces that the Tories have spent the last 14 years hollowing out.
We understand that it might be hard to see how just one contribution could make
a difference against the Tories’ deep pockets. But if everybody reading this
email gave just £5, we’d put a massive dent in their fundraising advantage.
So, we have to ask:
Can you please make a £5 contribution to Labour before midnight to help us level
the playing field? Your £5 will be immediately put to work to reach voters in
marginal seats - with leaflets, ads, on the doors and more.
