Friend,

Today, on Memorial Day, we have the opportunity to honor our servicemen and women and reflect on the sacrifices they’ve made throughout history. I am grateful for everyone who has laid their life on the line for our great nation.

This year especially, I’m thinking about the ongoing fight for our fundamental freedoms and democratic principles here at home. We can never truly repay the bravery and sacrifice of those who have died in service to our country, but we can commit ourselves to fighting for the principles they fought for.

To any of you who have a family member or a friend who paid the ultimate price: Thank you. Their service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten.
