Today, we honor the men and women who have died while serving our U.S. military.

Our district knows this day serves as a somber reminder to families across eastern Connecticut — home to the largest number of veterans in the state — of those lives lost while defending our country.

On this Memorial Day, I am gathering with loved ones to honor and thank all who made the greatest sacrifice, those who currently serve, our veterans, and their families.
