Paid for by Arizona Democrats

Hey there, folks — We just wanted to bump this for you.

Earlier this year, Senator Kelly was a co-sponsor on the bipartisan Radiation Exposure Compensation Reauthorization Act, which goes to support communities in Arizona and across the country that were exposed to radiation between WWII and the Cold War.

Could you take a minute to add your name and help us gather support in Washington so that we can get this critical legislation passed in the House?

Team — Earlier this year, the Senate passed the Radiation Exposure Compensation Reauthorization Act (RECA) which renews funding for residents of radiation-exposed communities, including the Navajo Nation right here in Arizona.

Between World War II and the Cold War, the lands of underserved communities like Navajo Nation and the Pueblo Nation in New Mexico were used for uranium mining and atomic weapons testing — leaving lasting harm on the communities and people that live there. Since 1990, RECA has provided financial support to the communities who were exposed to the toxic radiation from mining and testing.

But without a House vote, this support is set to run out, leaving victims of exposure at risk. Will you add your name right now to support the renewal of RECA?
