Thank you for coming out or tuning in to our County Board Debate! It was an informative, engaging discussion and I hope you came away with a better idea of who will best represent you.
It’s patio season (if the rain holds off), so join us May 30th at 7:00 PM, AANHPI Heritage Month Happy Hour at Hawker’s Asian Street Food in Ballston to say farewell to May, hello to the sunshine, and “yes I would love to join you for some phonebanking in the future” to your fellow young Dems.
As is tradition, AYD will be at Capital Pride on Saturday, June 8th to view the parade and join the festivities! Follow the event and keep an eye on our comms for the when and where specifics of our meeting point. And have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend! I hope you get time with loved ones and reflect on the sacrifice and service of loved ones no longer with us.

AYD at the Capital Pride Parade (Facebook, Google Calendar) Join AYD as we view the Capital Pride Parade!
The parade will be held on June 8th at 3 PM, and we will be meeting at a separate meet-up location near the route so we can travel to the route together early to secure a viewing spot. As political attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community continue to escalate across the country, it’s more important than ever to celebrate how far queer civil rights have come and commit to continue the fight.
