Friend,

Today we remember the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives serving in the military to defend our country, our democracy, and our freedom. 

Over the weekend, I had the honor to attend memorial services, go to VFW, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans posts and halls, and attend parades all throughout the district. It’s a privilege to spend time with veterans and MI-06 residents to celebrate our heroes' bravery.

On this Memorial Day, I encourage you to take a moment to visit a local memorial, participate in a community event, or attend a parade to express your gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made.

Let us come together to express our gratitude, support, and solidarity with the families of our fallen heroes. It is up to us to ensure their bravery will never be forgotten.
